On Saturday the infamous Dirty Scrubbers paid a visit to Barclays in the High Street (no, we won’t leave them alone!). That morning they’d already had Brum Beats holding a public practice session outside their door, with loads of the public watching on as we banged our drums and let people know about Barclays’s outrageous investments in fossil fuels.

Unsurprisingly they weren’t impressed to have the Scrubbers rock up with their curlers, dishcloths and buckets, to try and clean up this dirty bank. Rebels scrubbed the inside and outside of the bank whilst supporters handed out leaflets to customers, and one rebel read a statement explaining our reasons for acting, which was then passed on to a member of staff.
