On Saturday we held an uplifting and fun protest against the fashion industry, right outside the world’s biggest Primark. We had a fashion show showcasing sustainable fashion and body protest designs as well as speeches, a die-in and a clothes swap area.
Fast fashion is a big problem – the clothing industry emits more CO2 than aviation and shipping combined, not to mention water use and pollution, and the amount of clothes that get dumped into landfill after only a few wears.
